family time
we had the remarkable blessing of a family reunion last weekend. We (Sherry's parents, her brother and sister and their families) met up in the beautiful town of Cashiers, North Carolina. the mountains were stunning. the grandchildren enjoyed swimming in the lake and running on the trails. our accommodations were just perfect - no TV, Internet, and almost no cell phone coverage. it is always a joy to be with family but even more so without the intrusions of modern technologies. here are some snap shots that give a sense of God's creative grandeur in NC.

As usual, fantastic pictures...I particularly like the one with the kids walking down the pathway thru the "tunnel of rhododendron", the moon, and the mountain ridgeline!
